The success
or failure of any organizational effort ultimately rest with
the level of group participation. Our goal with this website
is to enable additional avenues of communication. Like most
things, however, it can only be as dynamic as we make it.
That means all of us; teachers, administrators, parents,
students and friends. To that end, we are actively
encouraging the Shalom Torah community to submit articles,
editorials, commentaries, etc., for possible publication.
To
submit a file, send it as a file attachment to the following
address:

EMAIL ATTACHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Before you can attach a file
to an e-mail message, the file must be saved on your
computer. You need to know the name of the file, and where
the file is located.
AOLMail:
To attach the a to a message in AOL mail, click the
Attachment button at the bottom of the Write Mail
screen, then click Attach. If "Look In" is not
pointing to the correct folder where your file is stored,
click the down arrow at the right of the Look In box, then
click the folder containing the file, click Open, then click
the appropriate file. When you click Open, the Attach window
shows the filename: C:\path\to\file\file.doc. Click OK. By
Attachments on Write Mail screen you will see the file and a
small *diskette* icon. Click the Send Now button, and the
attached file will be sent along with your message.
Other Mail (Outlook, Eudora,
Netscape etc):
To
attach a file to e-mail for other mail programs the
procedure is similar, though the terminology differs with
the program. In the toolbar of your Send
(or Compose) Mail screen, click the
paperclip
that represents attachments - or click Insert/Attachment.
At the Insert Attachment window, click on the appropriate
file or, if necessary, click the down arrow on the right of
the Look In box to locate the proper folder. Check Attach
(or Done), and then see the appropriate file and its file
size in the Send window. Click the send button.
