Parent
involvement is demonstrated in a variety of ways. All
parents have a role to play in the support of the school. If
you have some time to give, there is a place for you at
Shalom Torah. Volunteers in the classroom help teachers meet
the individual learning needs of each child, by reading with
him/her, making personal books, drilling math facts, playing
games, or simply being a companion. Volunteers also work in
the Media Center, go on learning trips or serve as Room
Parents to keep a solid line of communication among all the
parents and teachers in a classroom. Parent involvement may
be many more things than already mentioned. This year our
goal is 100% parent involvement.
What will
you do to help us reach out to our children and reach our
goal?
