SHALOM TORAH PTO MISSION STATEMENT The purpose of the Shalom Torah PTO is to aid the students of Shalom Torah Academy by providing support for their educational and recreational needs and to promote open communication among the administration, teachers and parents.

Families at Shalom Torah feel fortunate to be part of our learning community. Newcomers to Shalom Torah are quick to sense the attitude of purpose and cohesiveness between school and home.

Shalom Torah is a learning community of families, staff, friends and children working together to get a fine Jewish education.

The PTO strives to enhance their sense of community by providing a framework for parents to work in the school. We join forces with staff and act as a vital partner with them to enhance the school environment. Teamwork and respect are key motivators for accomplishing our goals.

The PTO is committed to a policy of inclusion and strives to involve all. Those who are able to visit the school while it is in session agree that it is time well spent. Others have schedules that allow them only to drop in for the occasional early morning coffee or evening meeting. All have numerous opportunities to contribute ideas for school enhancement and school spirit.
